Dismantled SpringBonnie is an antagonist and attraction in Fredbear's Fright.

Appearance[]

Dismantled SpringBonnie is a large leporine animatronic, and appears to be a withered version of Spring Bonnie from the mainline FNaF games. SpringBonnie's general design resembles an altered model of Dismantled Fredbear with the same torso and limbs, although SpringBonnie is a much lighter gold. He has five fingers on each hand due to being a Springlock character, but only four toes on each foot. He is missing the suit covering his left arm which exposes SpringBonnie's endoskeleton, and his right arm is severely damaged with every finger torn off. He has signs of wear and tear on his whole body, with most of the damages centered around his face. He shares a stage with Dismantled Fredbear on CAM 1A.

Behavior[]

Dismantled SpringBonnie is first active on Night 1 alongside Scrapped Mousiki. He appears on CAM 1A on the stage next to Dismantled Fredbear and will make his way towards the Office. He will attempt to enter through the right vent after he appears in CAM 4B, and is repelled by closing the right vent after hearing the sound cue of him entering the vent. Failing to do this in time will result in him jumpscaring the player, causing a game over. This will also happen if the player runs out of power before 6 AM. SpringBonnie is also active during Night 3 and the beginning of Night 4 and is more aggressive, however the method used to defend against him does not change.

Custom Night[]

Dismantled SpringBonnie is one of the potentially active animatronics during Custom Night, which is unlocked from the extras menu after beating Night 5. The player is able to set the difficulty of his AI with 20 being the hardest and 0 being completely deactivated. His mechanics are unchanged from the main game, however setting his difficulty to higher levels results in SpringBonnie attempting to enter the office more frequently, and reduces the window of time to close the vent.

Trivia[]

  • Dismantled SpringBonnie's appearance resembling that of Dismantled Fredbear could potentially be a homage to the original FNaF Bonnie, whose body was a recolor of Freddy Fazbear's.
  • Although Dismantled SpringBonnie has been left to rot since the 1980s up to the 1990s, he is in surprisingly good condition despite being out of commission for 20-30 years.
  • Dismantled SpringBonnie is the only animatronics from the original FNaF series not appear in any minigame.
  • Dismantled SpringBonnie is one of two animatronics to have two different jumpscares, the other being Fright.
